The Other Side of The Fence

Recollections of a Race Fan

I would like to welcome you to my site and to thank you for taking the time to check out my new book.  This is my first attempt at writing a book and I am not sure if I should go ahead and publish it or not.  So I would really appreciate your feedback and comments whether they are good or bad.

This book is an autobiography of my life as a racing fan and all of the unusual but most importantly true things that happened to me and all of my wonderful friends that I have met over the years.  This book is as much for them as it is for me.  I really decided to write this book as a way to remember all of the great events that happened to us as race fans and while writing this book I realized the sheer scope of racing history that I witnessed.  I saw all of the top racing series such as Formula One, Can Am, Trans-Am, CART, ALMS, Grand-Am, and ChampCar, races like the Indy 500, the United States Grand Prix at both Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, the Road America 500, the 6 Hours at the Glen, the 12 Hours of Sebring and countless amateur races, and all of the great drivers like Dan Gurney, Mario Andretti, Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi, Rick Mears, Johnny Rutherford, and Michael Schumacher.  I was there for all of it from triumph to tragedy.

I hope that you will enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
